The Shift: A New Way Is Emerging

Inspirada is part of a growing movement reimagining how we work, lead, and create value.

Business 3.0 is a response to everything breaking down around us: climate chaos, inequality, systems that were never designed for the good of the whole. It's the collective awakening that the old model is broken, and a new way must emerge.

But here's the thing: if you have a vision, you have to be able to describe it clearly enough for others to see it too.

That's where the storyteller becomes essential. We're the translators. The interpreters of "what's possible." The people who help you articulate a future that doesn't exist yet, so others can feel it, believe in it, and build it with you.

The Future Belongs to the Brave

I believe the companies that thrive in this new era will be the ones that:

  • Invest in third spaces: gathering places are the practice ground for collective imagination, rebuilding trust, and making tangible the futures we can't yet see. They're essential incubators for Business 3.0 to take root.

  • Shift to transformation-based work: when AI handles the cookie-cutter work, humans can focus on culture, embodiment, and real-world connection. Weird is valuable again.

  • Value competence over credentials: the most relevant skills get acquired in the wild, not the classroom.

  • Treat strategy as a living practice: adapting and responding in real-time instead of locking into rigid plans (what adrienne maree brown calls "emergent strategy").

  • Build worlds, not campaigns: like how artistic activists transform a single issue into art installations, public interventions, skill-sharing workshops, and social movements that reshape how people see the world.

  • Define "enough": acknowledge the harm of endless extraction, circulate surplus back into the community (like a forest), and let organizations compost when their purpose is fulfilled so their energy can reincarnate into what's needed next.

What it looks like in practice:

The brands that break through will be the ones that honor human creativity; bringing poetry, film, music, ritual, performance art, and community activation into everything they do. Not because it's trendy. Because real human emotion is everything.

  • Stories as ceremony: building connection through shared moments of change, transformation, and realization

  • Gatherings as the practice ground: spaces where collective imagination activates

  • Internal storytelling as culture-building: stories build trust and give teams a sense of shared purpose

  • Resilience as a differentiator: the ability to adapt and stay grounded becomes your competitive edge

  • Kitchen table as your compass: speaking with your real voice, not a boardroom performance

This is how you get people on board. This is how you make the invisible visible.

Why Gathering Matters

I believe the role of art in uncertain times has always been to help people imagine a future different from the present. At a time when so many of our third spaces have disappeared, in-person events like Creative Mornings and TEDx give people a place to practice being together, holding multiple truths, and navigating difficult conversations. Spaces where we celebrate creativity, and center joy while also making space for the grief of these times.

Whether it's a book club or a virtual writing group, a comedy show, an immigrant support hotline, or women circled around a bonfire – these types of intentional gatherings are the practice ground for the kind of collective imagination Business 3.0 requires.

One of my teachers says, “The future will be healed in circles.” I feel this in my bones. I believe it's the only way we're going to make it through this shit.
