It feels so absurd to carry on with business as usual while children are ripped apart by bullets. I’m struggling to stay focused in the wake of so much violence and heartbreak. But I will not look away and I will not give up hope for change. Because I’m a mother now. And as mothers, we do not have the luxury of hopelessness - we have children to raise.
